We are Linda (李鹭燕) and Paul (保罗) and we have set up this personal blog to record our next big adventure.

Since 2011, we have been running Daring Duck, a scouting club that organised weekly youth gatherings, summer and winter camps, events and team-building activities. All that in and near Xiamen, a beautiful coastal city in China. As a family psychologist (Linda) and an educator (Paul), we feel that teenagers have to be supported in getting ready for their future. It is our ambition to help them to obtain the skills to feel confident that they can realize their dreams.

We have had a fantastic decade. A decade during which thousands of teenagers obtained skills from cooking to navigation and from pioneering to First Aid. But we also found that with our personal classes, our reach was limited. We started thinking about how more people could enjoy, and benefit from, our programs.

In 2020 we moved to Europe to find a permanent location where we could develop the programs for our Adventures APP. Our APP for mobile phones with which teenagers and teachers worldwide can enjoy valuable Adventures every single week.

We found this location in March 2020 in Bourgogne, the beautiful and picturesque wine region in the middle of France. And now, more than 3 years later, we might receive the key to this magnificent estate of 360.000 square meters.
