Our third pillar – 我们的第三支柱

今天我先简单介绍一下我们“中欧家庭绿洲”的豪宅拿地情况，然后给大家介绍一下大胆鸭青年活动中新增的第三个支柱。

Today, I’ll first briefly introduce the status of getting the mansion for our ‘China European Family Oasis’, and then I will present to you the third pillar that we have added to Daring Duck’s youth activities.

家庭绿洲 – Family Oasis

正如我们在荷兰所说，我们的“中欧家庭绿洲”已成为永无休止的祈祷。 普通读者都知道，去年八月我们受邀对该庄园进行报价。 我们花了三年时间才走到这一步。 旗帜已灭，新的青年活动已筹划，我们都充满了活力。 但从那以后，我们就再也没有听到现任主人的任何消息。

As we say in the Netherlands, our ‘China European Family Oasis’ has become a prayer-without-an-ending. Regular readers know that in August last year, we were invited to make an offer on the estate. It took us 3 years to get that far. The flag went out, new youth activities were planned, and we were all energized. But since then, we haven’t heard anything from the current owner.

Despite sending Saint Nicolas gifts, a New Year Card and our digital Chinese New Year Card (see below), we continue to be faced with a deafening silence.

In addition, the lawyer we had hired in Switzerland was instructed by her firm that she cannot do anything anymore until the last invoice is paid (for which we have no money until our activities restart) and yet, we remain convinced that we will be granted this estate to build our youth activities.

There are three reasons for this:

1. Even though the current owner purchased the land in 2019, he has still not visited the location since nor done any activities there (that is 4 years of not using it).
2. Linda strongly believes that the new owner is our guardian angel, who has secured the estate until we can afford it.
3. The big step forward for Daring Duck (see below) means that soon we can hopefully afford it.

Therefore, after we start with our new Youth Exchange program (see below), I plan to visit him and present that using the estate for outdoor youth activities for thousands of teenagers, is a much better use than leaving it empty and unused as it has been for the last 4 years.

大胆鸭开发国际青少年交流APP – Daring Duck develops International Youth Exchange APP

Daring Duck 始终致力于帮助青少年为成功的成年生活做好准备。 在组织童子军训练营 10 年之后，在我们成立新总部之前，我们通过两项活动来实现这一目标：

Daring Duck has always been focused on helping youth prepare for a successful adulthood. After organising scouting camps for 10 years, and until we have our new head office we did that with 2 activities:

AdventuresAPP 手机应用程序为教师提供每周一次的户外活动，世界各地的青少年可以通过该应用程序自我训练，熟练掌握从拓荒到露营、从烹饪到急救等各种活动。

The Adventures APP, that provides weekly outdoor activities to teachers and with which teenagers throughout the world can train themselves to become proficient in activities varying from pioneering to camping and from cooking to first aid.

Lowcode4all 学院，我们指导毕业生在激动人心的低代码应用程序开发世界中成为成功的企业家。

The Lowcode4all Academy, where we coach graduates to become successful entrepreneurs in the exciting world of Low-Code Application Development.

现在，我们为我们的活动添加了令人兴奋的第三个支柱。

We now add an exciting third pillar to our activities.

青年交流是：我们的第三个支柱 – Youth Exchange: our third pillar

从 2024 年 7 月开始，30 多个国家的 120 多个志愿者组织将开始使用我们的软件来管理大型国际青年交流项目。

Starting in July 2024, over 120 volunteer organisations, in more than 30 countries will start using our software to manage a large international youth exchange program.

该项目已存在 30 多年，为 15 至 19 岁的青少年提供出国留学一年的机会。

Existing already for over 30 years, the program provides teenagers from 15 to 19 years the chance to study one year abroad.

Daring Duck 的软件将用于管理数千次交换本身，包括签证、医疗保健和入学机会，但我们的 APP 还管理超过 30,000 名志愿者、接待家庭和潜在参与者的严格认证。

Daring Duck’s software will be used to manage the thousands of exchanges themselves, including visa, health care and access to schools, but our APP also manages the rigorous certification of over 30.000 volunteers, hosting families and potential participants.

我们活动的这一新支柱不仅强调了我们对青少年教育的关注，还将帮助我们重新启动并继续我们的 Adventures APP 和 Lowcode4all 学院的活动。

This new pillar of our activity not only emphasises our focus on youth education but will also help us to restart and continue our activities for the Adventures APP and the Lowcode4all Academy.
